皆様、「新年明けましておめでとうございます！！」。新型コロナウイルスの勢いが止まらず、世界中の人々が苦しんでいるときに「おめでとう」はないだろうとお叱りの言葉をいただくかもしれませんが・・・・、「閉めましてさようなら」と内にこもってばかりではコロナウイルスの思うつぼです。元気で頑張りましょう。今年もよろしくお願いします。
全国的に寒さが厳しいようです。北海道も全域凍っています。会社の給湯器も凍ってしまい、これから解凍作業です。テレビの天気予報を見ていると、いつも思うのは日本列島は広いなあと感じます。(もっと広いところがありますが・・・。)
今日の札幌の朝9時の気温がマイナス6℃、同じ時間の那覇は20℃でした。その差なんと26℃・・・。でも、部屋の温度はそう変わらないと思います。暖房が行き届いている北海道の部屋の温度は多分、23～26℃くらいではないでしょうか？沖縄は同じくらいか、もう少し低いのでは？？？。冷えたビールか、アイスクリームを楽しみましょう。沖縄でも札幌でも。

I read the article and it makes a strong point about how easy it is to judge others when we all have flaws. Once during finals I felt overwhelmed and even tried top dissertation writing for a chapter I could not finish in time. That helped me focus and avoid beating myself up. The story reminded me that we need to be gentle with others and ourselves as we grow.
I saw your New Year greeting about starting fresh and feeling grateful for what came before, and it really made me think about my own year. In the second semester I struggled a lot until I tried take my online Management class help service when the workload got heavy, and that support helped me get back on track with my studies. Reading your post reminded me that it is okay to ask for help, and I now feel ready to set simple goals for the months ahead.
